What are manifestations?

What are manifestations?

The term manifestation is misunderstood by many people as it means magic that can bring anything to life. But the truth is, it means creating an idea and bringing it in front of us by taking actions. Manifestations are happening all the time, everywhere. Whatever we are seeing, are manifestation of some of the great leaders and whatever is happening in our lives, is our manifestation. The difference is that until now, you have been manifesting unconscious and if you are reading this, it means that you want to become conscious and skilful at manifesting.

How does manifestation work?
Now, you know what manifestation is. Let’s focus on how it works. There are 12 laws of the universe that govern our world. Out of these 12, one is the Law of Attraction and the other is the Law of Vibration. You must have heard that like attracts like. It suggests that similar things are attracted to one another. The Law of Attraction means the same. We attract what we focus on. On the other hand, the Law of Vibration means everything in this universe has a vibrational frequency.

We don’t manifest what we want, we manifest what we believe. If we put these laws together, it shows that we don’t attract based on what we think, we attract based on what vibration we are. For instance, if you are in a particular city and you wish to tune in to some other city’s radio station, you won’t be able to listen to it as it is aligned at a different frequency for a different state. You can only listen to the radio stations that are aligned with the city that you are in.

Similarly, to attract things in life, we need to be at the same frequency. When we are upset, we tend to attract things that make us more depressed and the reason is the same — Frequency. These laws are working on every level of our lives and that’s how we manifest things. The formula for it would be: Thoughts + Feelings = Vibration. To manifest desires, we can choose thoughts and create feelings that are aligned with what we want. Here’s how you can become conscious at manifesting:

Connect with the universe: Perhaps you have a question as to why should you bother about your connection with the universe? The truth is, we are already connected to the universe. We are all a part of it. So, the connection here means a conscious connection with the universe. For instance, you are in a class of 20 students. Each student is connected to another because they are in the same class. Now, if one student needs a favour from another, they must have some communication between them. That communication will develop connections between the two students. Likewise, if we need something from the universe, we must have a healthy connection with it. There are many ways to develop a connection with the universe. A few of them are listed below:

Body scan meditation: You can pick anybody scan meditation from YouTube and start practising it daily.

Start your day with gratitude: Begin your day by giving thanks for the blessings you already have in your life. This will raise your vibration, and keep you in sync with the energy of the universe. There are four stages of gratitude. First, lack of gratitude: grateful for nothing. There’s nothing for which you should be grateful. Second, being grateful for a few things in your life. The third stage is where you are grateful for everything in your life. Lastly, grateful for nothing… you feel immense gratitude for nothing specific. Simply, you are grateful for existing. Which stage are you at?

Talk to the universe: Just how the way we talk to others, communicate with the universe. Don’t complain but seek guidance. Ask questions or tell something about your day. By talking to the universe, you will stay in sync with the signs and the voices it uses to communicate with you.

List your goals: When you know where you want to go, the journey becomes easy. When you know your target, it becomes easy to strike. So, we need to have clearly defined goals as to what we want to achieve. Is it realistic or not? If yes, then find your strong why. Why do you want to achieve that goal? Write it down and start taking small actions daily to achieve it.

Work on your patterns: Patterns mean beliefs. We all have some negative beliefs in our minds. Without eliminating them, we cannot move forward. Use affirmations, positive self-talk, and gratitude to eliminate those limiting beliefs. Some of the affirmations that help in the process are: I always succeed, I am an achiever, I am free of negativity, I trust myself to execute, My life is getting better, I attract the right people, and I am wealthy, among others. You can also create your own affirmations. Decide what you want and why is that you want it. Create an affirmation for that desire by being as specific as you can. Next, personalise it by using “I am” or “my”. Use vibrational words such as feeling happy, wonderful, delighted, blessed, proud, etc. Mention your desire in the present tense and feel it while affirming. You can add “thank you, Universe” at the end to connect with the universe.

Take action: This is a crucial step that is missing for most people when it comes to conscious manifestation. Every day, push yourself to do something out of your comfort zone as it will help you to strengthen your new empowering beliefs.

Celebrate wins: Celebrate every little win. We keep on waiting for the big goal to get accomplished and forget to celebrate what we have achieved during the journey. Manifestation is more about growing joyously and celebrating the journey than reaching the destination. Document each win (big or small) and let people know what you have achieved. This will motivate you to reach your goal, your dream, your burning desire with your extraordinary version.

Lastly, manifestation is not any magic that will fix things quickly. It’s a journey, a way of living, a way of thinking, and a way of being.
